As a seasoned professional, Jill is a steward of common sense. Her depth of business acumen and wealth of practical, theoretical and academic insight into “people in business” have been utilised by senior executives and boards, high-potential individuals, and teams. Her industry experience encompasses financial services, pharmaceutical, mining, manufacturing, private equity, marketing and media, resources and numerous other environments.

Jill focuses on achieving business results by enabling her clients to gain in-depth personal appreciation and insight, enhanced awareness and appreciation of others; the maturation of executive business leadership abilities; and the unleashing of enhanced strategic thinking skills. Ultimately, this powerful combination of proficiencies leads to the ability to make more conscious and profound individual choices.

Acting as a highly trusted catalyst, confidante, and gifted practitioner, Jill’s focus is to personalise her approach so that each of her clients can maximise their inherent potential. Jill is a proud mother of three and a grandmother of two. She is an avid golfer, a general health fanatic, and a perpetual learner. Her spare time is devoted to charity work in her local community.


Jill was a top young achiever in business, gaining her first Directorship appointment at 26. Delivering the expected outcomes, and driving company growth, she became Managing Director of one of four companies, within a group, which was then listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

Having proven her worth within the larger corporate environment Jill moved on to establish The People Business Group (Pty) Ltd (TPB). At its zenith, this organisation became a market leader in delivering holistic people development initiatives and HR consulting services to clients across multiple business sectors.

Supporting her role within TPB, Jill developed specialist theoretical and practical expertise including an EMBA in Strategic Business Thinking (UCT GBS), an M.Phil. (USB) (theoretical), plus a Professional Coaching Certificate (Henley).

Combining her depth of business insight and her natural passion for people, Jill built an enviable reputation in coaching top leaders within the SA corporate industry. She has also undertaken international assignments working both in Europe and on the African continent.

Based on her business expertise and strategic insight, Jill was asked to join a dynamic cybersecurity company as the Human Capital Manager and Executive Personal and Team Coach. Her brief was to help the organisation to transition from an entrepreneurial-focused entity into a mature, international business environment.

More recently, Jill has partnered with UK-based Executive Coach and communication expert Bev Hancock. Based on their integrated leadership system and supported by online platforms, they have curated, designed, and facilitated interactive and immersive leadership development. Their collective expertise and specialised knowledge have harnessed the hybrid work environment as they continue in their quest to enable senior executives and high-performance teams. Based on their combined level of expertise, Jill and Bev are privaledged to be currently working on assignments with established local and international organisations.

As an integral Executive Business Leadership Coach and Strategic Facilitator, Bev opens the space for Leaders to integrate life and work that equips to thrive as leaders in the face of uncertainty and change. With Masters’s degrees in Business and Management Coaching and specialising in Conversational Leadership, Bev speaks the language of business and believes that the coaching conversation is the most effective way of equipping leaders to lead with empathy and influence throughout the leadership pipeline.

Her pioneering master’s research in 2014 explored the skill set needed to engage in a hybrid, omnichannel business environment. She has used this skillset worldwide to help leaders develop strategies to interact with ethical integrity and authentic connection.   Building a leader’s capacity and competence to lead, communicate and interact in the hybrid world of work is often a focus of her coaching interaction. 

Bev has held senior academic and leadership positions for Educor, Africa’s largest tertiary education provider and with Volkswagen South Africa E-Learning and Sales and Marketing Academies. She has also coached many leaders in the academic environment to thrive in this unique environment. 

Her online learning and coaching portal, The Conversational Leadership Academy, enables clients to build the mindset, skills and tools needed for a post-pandemic world of work. Bev uses a blended approach in her coaching that often includes learning tools and frameworks that leaders can implement within their work environment.

Bev combines her love for learning, technology and coaching with a full spectrum of face-to-face, virtual and hybrid channels using her bespoke FUEL, IGNITE, ACCELERATE method. She curates, designs and facilitates interactive and immersive learning conversations, igniting personal growth and business impact.

Life-long learning and future-focused capacity building are built into Bev’s DNA. She immerses herself in the latest leadership trends, focusing on conversational leaders and the future world of work.

Bev has worked with several large corporate organisations in various sectors, including manufacturing, energy, financial services and logistics. The clients she has worked with include Toyota, VWSA, HSCB, Absa, Old Mutual, BP SA, Bakers Transport, Grundfos, and Puratos.
